Ontrack Data International, known as a leading provider of data recovery services to the computing industry, had evolved to fill a greater need for data-loss prevention. Yet its customers and investors linked the company with its past. With several prevention products in the pipeline, Ontrack asked Padilla Speer Beardsley to let the world know the breadth of its capabilities. PSB helped Ontrack define and communicate a broader personality to the market, as well as developing and implementing a plan to boost investor confidence in Ontrack. Within one year, Ontrack more than doubled its media coverage, recorded higher sales for its data prevention products and boosted its stock price.
