Senior Vice President, Managing Director, New York
As head of Padilla Speer Beardsley's New York City office, Greg oversees the staff and business development activities, and supervises services for clients, including Merck, Elsevier and BraunAbility.
Greg's 25 years of award-winning communications and leadership experience is informed by work on both the client and agency sides of public relations and marketing communications, and within industries ranging from consumer products to health care to public education.
Before joining Padilla, Greg served as senior vice president of Cohn & Wolfe in New York, creating multi-disciplinary programs across public relations, advertising and social media platforms. His clients included Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Colgate-Palmolive and GlaxoSmithKline.
Previously, he spent nearly 10 years at MS&L; in New York, where he was a global and national account director for clients including Philips Electronics, Procter & Gamble, Intuit TurboTax, Capital One, Eli Lilly and Pfizer.
While at MS&L;, Greg accepted two national awards for work on behalf of Philips Electronics -- a Silver Anvil for Marketing Consumer Products from the Public Relations Society of America and a PRWeek award for Best Use of the Internet.
During the 1990s, Greg served as director of Public Affairs at American Express, where he supported its Establishment Services Division and Consumer Card Services Group. He also managed communications surrounding the award-winning cause-marketing campaign, “Charge Against Hunger.”
Prior to his corporate experience, Greg worked on national and international programs at Ogilvy & Mather for clients including Pillsbury, Seagram's, Carnation Company, Duracell and Ronzoni pasta.
He started his career at R.C. Auletta & Company, working with Perdue Farms, Waring Products, and the graphic design firm of Anspach Grossman Portugal.
Greg received his bachelor's degree from Hofstra University, where he was a member of the national honor fraternity Alpha Psi Omega.
