Carrie's diverse background in marketing research, brand development, corporate communications and advertising gives her the unique ability to assess our clients' business needs from every angle. For every account, she applies her strong critical thinking and 25 years of account management expertise to develop integrated communications plans that strike the perfect balance between big creative ideas and seriously smart execution.
Earlier in her career Carrie managed a roster of high-profile clients such as Mayo Clinic, Target Corporation and Qwest Communications for TMP Worldwide, a New York-based specialty advertising agency, and The Nancekivell Group, a Minneapolis-based brand design firm. As a key member of Padilla's creative department, Carrie champions business-to-business and consumer efforts for industry leaders including Arctic Cat, TCF Financial, Travelers Insurance, UnitedHealthcare and UnitedHealth Group.
Many of Carrie's clients have turned into lifelong friends—a testament to her dedication, loyalty and relationship-building skills. These qualities also make her a natural leader of Padilla Plugged-in, an internal committee that organizes employee volunteering for charities such as Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and People Serving People. Giving back to the community is a longstanding cornerstone of Padilla culture.
Carrie graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minneapolis, with a degree in English and a minor in communications. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
