Project OffStreets was established in 1986 to provide help and support to the more than 3,000 homeless and sexually exploited teenagers living on the streets of Minneapolis. OffStreets offers alternatives to the street lifestyle and makes youth aware of the resources available to them. It is part of the Minneapolis Youth Diversion Program.PSB plays an active role during the holiday season raising dollar and gift donations for the 150 gift bags OffStreets gives to homeless youth each year. The bags are filled with new gloves, scarves, hats, long underwear and other items that help brighten the holiday season for these young people.
In addition to fundraising, employees volunteer their time promoting special programs and interacting with the youth.
PSB has worked with Project OffStreets since 1992.
