Terri Sullivan, APR

Terri has more than 13 years of experience in a broad range of public relations practice areas, with particular expertise in marketing. She has developed and implemented programs to generate awareness, build a positive image and increase sales for clients such as Frito-Lay, PepsiCola, 3M, Lands' End, Jostens, IBM, The NutraSweet Company, The Stroh Brewery, Sandoz Nutrition and Tonka Toys.

Terri first joined the firm in 1983. She moved to Dallas in 1985 to join Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, Inc., where she created public relations programs to support sales and marketing objectives for the company's various snack brands. In 1987, she was promoted to start a communications department for PepsiCo Food Systems, where she was responsible for customer communications, employee communications, media relations, government relations and speech writing.

She returned to PSB in 1988. In addition to her marketing communications work since then, Terri developed and manages an ongoing national public relations program for Lutheran Brotherhood, a fraternal benefit society and financial services organization with $10 billion in assets under management. The program includes corporate image, community relations and public affairs components. She has developed and implemented successful public service communications campaigns for Youth Service America and The Points of Light Foundation.

Prior to joining PSB in 1983, Terri handled employee communications for The Prudential Insurance Company for three years. She received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota in 1980.

Terri is a member of the board of directors for Family and Children's Service, Inc. and advisory boards for Search Institute. She has served as adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. She is a past board member of the American Marketing Association, Minnesota Chapter.
