David C. Kistle, ABC Senior Vice President / St. Paul Office

Since joining the firm in 1981, David has focused on communication research, strategic planning, customer and community relations, and employee communications. His marketing and communication expertise has helped businesses and organizations identify and develop strategies that leverage their communication dollars to achieve their business objectives. David's experience includes health care, consumer products, travel and tourism, gas and electric utilities, education, and business-to-business service firms. Prior to joining the firm, David worked in the public relations departments at 3M and United Telephone Company of Minnesota. David graduated in 1969 from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He also holds a master's degree in advertising and marketing communication from the University of Illinois. David is an accredited member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and is active in leadership at all levels of the organization. He currently serves as a director on the IABC Executive Board. He is a past director and president of IABC Minnesota, and has served on the IABC U.S. District 4 board. David has received several communications awards from IABC and PRSA for a broad range of communication program development. He has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of St. Thomas, the College of St. Catherine and St. Cloud State University.
