A seasoned public relations practitioner and senior counselor, Mike heads Padilla Speer Beardsley's New York office. Prior to joining PSB, he held senior positions at Manning, Selvage, and Lee's New York office and at G. S. Schwartz Public Relations. His broad agency background has brought results-oriented strategies to a wide variety of Fortune 1000 companies here and abroad. His thought leadership, media savvy and creative approach has won industry awards and achieved national and international press attention. More importantly, they consistently add business value to client enterprises. With more than 25 years in public relations, Mike has directed highly successful corporate, marketing and financial relations programs for Western Union, PricewaterhouseCoopers, DHL, Starter Sportswear, COMDISCO, Dunhill Personnel, Grumman Aerospace, El Al Airlines, Yankelovich Partners and others in business-to-business, high tech and consumer markets. Prior to joining the private sector, he was a public affairs officer for the U.S. Air Force. Global assignments included the European and American introduction of the F-16 fighter aircraft, "The Arms Deal of the Century." Mike is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a former board member of the New York chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. He received his bachelor of science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, and earned a master's degree in mass communications from the University of Denver. He has published several articles on public relations and marketing communications and has been an adjunct professor of public relations, journalism and advertising at Fordham University, Hofstra University, and the College of Mt. St. Vincent in New York. |
