Lynn plans, manages and implements corporate brand-building and marketing communication programs for a variety of PSB clients. Her primary practice is in technology and manufacturing. Industry experience also includes financial services, consumer products and professional services. Chief operating officer responsibilities include directing the firm's client satisfaction process, and overseeing its human resources and marketing programs.
Prior to joining the firm in 1983, Lynn was marketing communications manager for Burlington Northern, responsible for a diverse program that expanded awareness of company services following railroad deregulation. She also developed Minnesota's second-largest first public relations program for foster care home recruitment. Lynn is a 1976 Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of North Dakota. She also holds a master's degree in mass communications from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas. Lynn is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), has served on the Minnesota Chapter's board of directors, and actively contributes to the profession at a national level. In 2001, she will chair the national Counselors Academy section of PRSA, and she serves on task forces of the Council of Public Relations Firms. Twin Cities community involvement includes Courage Center, where she serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors; the University of Minnesota, as part of its Campaign Minnesota development effort; Minnesota High Tech Association, as board member; and Minnesota Technology Inc., where she provides pro-bono counsel and judges the annual Minnesota Technology Awards.
