Saint Paul, Minn. - August 29, 2007 - Pheasants Forever has participated in nearly 1,000 different land acquisitions totaling over 100,000 acres. But it all started in 1986 with the Nobles County (Minnesota) Chapter of Pheasants Forever, and you can see how on next week's episode of Pheasants Forever Television. The episode airs on VERSUS on Tuesday, September 4th at 10 AM CDT / 11 AM EDT and again on Sunday, September 9th at 11:30 AM CDT / 12:30 PM EDT.

The Man Afield, Bill Sherck, and PF TV join Nobles County chapter president Les Johnson for a hunt on "Pheasant Run One." Purchased by the chapter in 1986, the land was turned over to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and is now a Wildlife Management Area open to public hunting and recreation. It was a milestone event, as PF chapters have now completed nearly 1,000 such acquisitions in conjunction with local, state, and federal natural resource agencies across the country - all areas which are open to the public for hunting.

Next, PF TV profiles Matt Kucharski, an expert with Padilla Speer Beardsley, a national public relations and marketing firm based in Minneapolis. What makes Pheasants Forever successful are its passionate and dedicated volunteers, and Kucharski is a prime example. Though he lives in a metropolitan area, Kucharski proves that no matter where you are or what you have, you can donate in some way, shape or form to Pheasants Forever's cause.

And last but certainly not least, PF TV catches up with Pheasants Forever and the 25,000 other attendees that made National Pheasant Fest 2007 an immense success in Des Moines, Iowa, this past January. This fun look back will help wet your appetite for National Pheasant Fest 2008, coming this January 18-20 at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota.
