  • Account Supervisor/Director, Consumer, Minneapolis

Our employee-owned, Minneapolis-based public relations firm needs a creative, driven account supervisor/director with 10 to 15 years of public relations experience, specifically in food-and-beverage marketing and publicity.

We want a savvy account supervisor/director with a track record of creating and directing consumer campaigns that build brands and drive sales. Corporate and agency experience would be ideal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading account/project teams while mentoring junior staff.
  • Seeking new business and networking opportunities.
  • Developing creative ideas, writing strategic plans and giving presentations.

This account supervisor/director will be expected to support and grow existing accounts by consistently delivering excellent client service, meeting public relations challenges on time and within budget. We measure progress by client retention, revenue growth and new business development.

  • Account Supervisor/Director, Technology, Minneapolis

Dynamic, growth-oriented public relations agency in Minneapolis has an opening in its B2B practice, developing and working with technology clients. Need 10-15 years of proven leadership experience in advertising, public relations, brand strategy development and/or integrated marketing, preferably a mix of agency and corporate. Candidate must have a successful track record in program planning and execution with technology-based businesses or other complex industries. Job requires excellent oral and written communications skills, strong affinity for networking and business development and experience with senior-level counseling and leadership. Previous success with new business development and previous agency experience a plus. Some travel required.

  • Senior Account Executive, New York

Consider becoming an employee-owner in our New York office, located in Midtown Manhattan. The senior account executive will plan, implement and evaluate public relations programs; manage day-to-day client activities, monitor budgets; problem solve; and participate in new business, including lead generation and prospecting. Strong writing skills and a passion for publicity are critical Need someone who can lead and manage accounts, counsel CEOs and develop long-term relationships. Experience working at a public relations agency is a plus.

  • Account Executive, Manufacturing and Technology, Minneapolis

If you have a passion for writing and a nose for news we want YOU. Padilla Speer Beardsley, an employee-owned public relations firm in Minneapolis, is looking for an account executive to join our manufacturing and technology practice. We're looking for candidates with three to five years of public relations experience with excellent writing skills, media relations experience and strong project management skills. As an AE you would be responsible for the many day-to-day public relations activities, including writing case histories, bylines, feature articles and news releases, as well as planning and implementing trade shows and client events. The AE also will conduct ongoing media calls, schedule editor interviews and assist with research. The clients served are in the manufacturing and technology industries. Experience working at a public relations agency is a plus.

  • Assistant Account Executive, Agribusiness, Minneapolis

Looking for enthusiastic public relations professional to join our growing agency. The AAE will focus on business-to-business marketing with clients in agribusiness industry. The AAE is responsible for many of the day-to-day PR activities. Some of those things are developing media and analysts lists; writing news releases, articles and pitch letters; assisting with event logistics, researching venues, invites; conducting media calls; scheduling editor appointments for media tours and trade shows; research; and managing mailings and press kits. To be considered for an opening you must have 1-2 years of experience in public relations. Skills: excellent writer; ability to understand and explain complex subjects; media relations experience and a strong work ethic. Agency experience a plus.

  • Assistant Account Executive, New York

Looking for entry-level public relations professional to work in our growing New York office. The ideal candidate will have a couple of internships in public relations, journalism, publicity or related experience. Must have a can-do attitude, excellent media relations and strong writing skills and be able to multi-task. Media relations or agency experience a plus.

  • Intern, Manufacturing & Technology, Minneapolis

Padilla Speer Beardsley has an opening for a full-time public relations intern to work on a wide variety of projects. This is a six-month internship and will be centered on business-to-business marketing focusing on clients in our manufacturing and technology practices. Responsibilities include: writing news, product and personnel releases; creating and editing media lists, media relations work, organizing clips and tracking incoming trade publications and research. Must have excellent writing skills and one to two internships or volunteering experiences in public relations, journalism, or marketing communications. It's a great opportunity to experience first-hand the public relations business.
